This is a painting that I did a while back for my mother's friend. I didn't think I would be able to paint it when my mom presented the idea to me but I proved myself wrong.

I love this this painting it was inspired by a new friend. She reminded me that there was beauty to be seen even in chaos. This piece is going to South Africa.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Of course everyone knows that October is breast cancer awareness month. There have been many of my dear friends affected by breast cancer for this reason breast cancer research is something near to my heart. There is a business here in my town that is collecting for the cause. My mother let me know about it and thought it would be a wonderful idea to raffle a painting to help them raise funds. I was all about helping but rushed to complete something. This weekend has been busy but I managed to complete this piece. It might not raise a lot of money but the way I see it every little bit helps.
