I just sold both of these paintings and it couldn't have come at a better time. It was for a customers two sons for Christmas. She let me know things that they liked and I decided to go with this puzzle design.

Soccer Anyone

I love doing pieces like this, because it meant something. I was approached by the shipping lady I do business with to do this painting. It may not look like anything special, but to me it is. There is a young man who played soccer for a local high school. He was a wonderful soccer player and had even earned a scholarship. A few months ago he was in a very bad car accident and is facing some serious health issues. As it stands today he may never play soccer again. The lady asked me how much I would charge to paint something for him. I told her to purchase the canvas and that was it. I want my work to touch peoples heart. It doesn't always have to be about money. The players and coaches signed it they are giving it to him Friday. I hope he enjoys it.

Friends Birthday

Footprints for a Friend

I was tired and wanted to go to bed this evening but I couldn't rest until I painted this for a friend. It is hard to see but there are foot prints in the sand.

A Horse Of Course

My friend has wanted me to paint a pic of a horse for a while now. So about a year later I finally painted it. I find it difficult to paint certain things, and this was one of those paintings. I apologize to my friend in advance for the toddler look.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Of course everyone knows that October is breast cancer awareness month. There have been many of my dear friends affected by breast cancer for this reason breast cancer research is something near to my heart. There is a business here in my town that is collecting for the cause. My mother let me know about it and thought it would be a wonderful idea to raffle a painting to help them raise funds. I was all about helping but rushed to complete something. This weekend has been busy but I managed to complete this piece. It might not raise a lot of money but the way I see it every little bit helps.

I painted this piece for my good friend Eric. He has been amazing and listened to my whining on several occasions. The least I could do was paint him a picture.

See The Heart

This is a painting that I just went with. I let the brush do the talking so to speak. I can see a heart in it can you?

DMB dance

I did this piece out of pure boredom. I love The Dave Matthews Band, this is my take on of their symbols "the dancer". I decided to use oil pastels to be creative. It isn't one of my favorites but I enjoyed creating it.

My mom really keeps me busy painting things for her. This is a painting for her friends birthday.

I painted this piece for a good friend of mine that I met in culinary school. If you look closely you will see her children's names in the piece.

Hope

This was my second piece I think. I painted for my friend/co-worker. She had found out her mom had breast cancer about 6 months prior.

My Favorite

This is one of my favorite pieces. This was the first oil painting I did.

Grandmother

I love my grandmother dearly and she happens to love my art, go figure. Any one who really knows me well can tell you that I have a great sense of humor, I contribute some of that to her. I painted this for her birthday recently. I know it isn't a good quality pic, but I put her children's name's and grand children's names in the lily pads. She loved it.

What Is It

I was going through a really rough time when I painted this piece. There are a couple of things that amaze me about this piece; first, is that it seems to be a lot of my friends favorite piece and secondly, everyone has a different interpretation of what they see when they look at it. This piece taught me that there are good things that come out of not so good situations.

Scissors

Some of you have seen this piece previously. Since then I have touched it up a bit. My mom is dropping it off to the Salon that does her hair this weekend.

For My Brother

My brother's birthday is quickly approaching. I decided to paint a piece for him. He has been playing the drums since he was 5 so I thought he would enjoy this painting.
